For each upcoming Olympic cycle, the various Sport Performance Centers in The Netherlands are to be accredited.

NMC Bright is advising the Dutch Olympic Committee on the assessment and reviewing procedure.

The Sport Performance Centers are meant for the highest national seniors and talents of top sport programs of federations. A unique feature of the Sport Performance Centers is that full-time training, studying and living can be optimally combined at one location, with minimal travel times. The number of Top10 achievements and the diversity of the different performing sports at the Olympic Games is largely the result of programs that are concentrated at the Sport Performance Centers.

To be accredited the Sport Performance Centers must meet a diverse range of requirements in the areas of organization, infrastructure, training accommodation, education, accommodation, experts / guidance and (para) medical facilities.

NMC Bright is assigned to lead the Reviewing Committee that visits all Sport Performance Centers and reports about the areas of improvement for the coming years.
